This was an awesome project and completely nuts team, in the best of ways. I was one of two writers working on world immersion: overheard conversations, mysterious notes, radio broadcasts, non-main NPC interactions. Once that slowed down, I got a chance to do a bunch of sidequests.
Every time you hear someone in FarCry 5 say: "Oh, my god. That bear is on fire!" Yeah. That was me.
This was a blast to work on, writing about my home town. I worked on the living city (making it feel immersive with overheard conversations, phonecalls, and texts), side missions, and the official DedSec blog for our transmedia team. I also wrote the DLCs Automata and Caustic Progress.
This was one of my favorite experiences working with actors in MoCap and VO.

I wrote Supplemental Logs for the Star Trek Online website, to fill in events between Star Trek: Nemesis and the beginning of STO. Everything I wrote was officially approved, which means it made it into – at the very least – the soft cannon. Click below for excerpts.
Champions was the first game I ever worked on. I started out working on lore. Click below to see samples. (Some of the formatting is wonky after the last Wordpress update. I'm working on it.)
